Mactan Cebu International Airport is the Philippines' second-busiest airport and the primary air gateway to the Visayas and Mindanao regions. GMR Airports International B.V. (GAIBV) has been central to its development and operations since 2014.

Operator, Builder, and Lasting Partner

Mactan Cebu International Airport serves Cebu, one of the Philippines’ most important economic and tourism centres. Through a partnership with Megawide Construction Corporation, GMR Airports took over operations of the airport in 2014, delivering significant infrastructure expansion including the development of Terminal 2 and the rehabilitation of Terminal 1.

In October 2024, GMR completed the transfer of its equity stake while continuing its association with the airport as a Technical Services Provider.
